Atlanta Colocation, Interconnection and PAIX Peering Services
Switch and Data is located at 56 Marietta, a 160,000 SF fully dedicated carrier hotel/interconnect facility that is home to the Southeast's largest concentration of telecommunication companies. This is a former Western Electric 10-story building built in 1917, located four blocks west of CNN center along Marietta Street, in downtown Atlanta.
The Switch and Data Atlanta data center offers colocation, interconnection and PAIX peering services.
For customers interested in peering, Switch and Data’s PAIX Services are available via the Building Meet-Me-Room (BMMR). Switch and Data recently extended its PAIX Layer 2 public peering fabric to the BMMR, which makes fractional to full GigE ports available to all BMMR customers. Switch and Data has also made available additional single mode and multimode fiber interconnections from its suites on the 5th and 6th floor at 56 Marietta to the BMMR.
