Washington D.C. (Reston, Vienna) Colocation, Interconnection and PAIX Peering Services

Switch and Data is located within three buildings in the Washington D.C. metro area.  We are at 11513-19 Sunset Hills Road in Reston, 7990 Science Applications Court and at 8502-A Tyco Road in Vienna.

The Reston colocation data center is a one-story building located in the dominant fiber corridor of the Vienna/Tyson’s Corner area.  This site offers more than 15,000 square feet of colocation space and multiple connectivity and interconnection options.  Roof rights with satellite space are available with a clear line of sight in all directions. 

The Tyco Road location is a one-story warehouse building offering more than 24,000 square feet of colocation space, multiple connectivity options and several layers of security. 

The Switch and Data Vienna Science Applications Court data center is also located in the dominant fiber corridor of the Vienna/Tyson’s Corner area.  This site is a 24 x 7 technician-manned site with 16,000 square feet of combined colocation and PAIX Internet exchange and peering space.  This data center offers multiple space options for contiguous racks and ample power to support customer requirements.  It also features numerous connectivity and interconnection options and layered security protection including lobby security, 24x7 on site security personnel, real time video surveillance provides 24x7 monitoring, mantrap, alarm/key monitoring, and CCTV surveillance.
