Site Location

Switch and Data has two locations in Philadelphia.  We’re at 3701 Market Street and 401 North Broad Street.

Our Market Street data center is a 21,000 square foot colocation and interconnection facility with numerous connectivity options.  This data center is within an 8-story building west of downtown and approximately four miles from the Switch and Data Broad Street site.  The Market Street data center offers extensive power redundancy with dual incoming utility feeds from separate substations off of two isolated grids, 1600 amp AC switchgear, N+1 parallel redundant 675 KVA UPS modules, and a 600 amp DC power system.

The Switch and Data North Broad Street data center is a more than 21,000 square foot facility offering colocation, interconnection and PAIX Internet exchange and peering services.  We are within an 11-story building located just north of Center City, four blocks north of City Hall, and across the street from the Philadelphia Inquirer Building.  Features of this site include multiple connectivity and interconnection options, diverse fiber entry points and multiple layers of security including lobby security, real-time video surveillance with 24x7 monitoring, mantrap, card key access, alarm/key monitoring, and CCTV surveillance.
